A Romantic Garden Elopement in Italy completely devoted to them and their loved ones was what Max and Micol have always dreamed of since they decided to get married. They live in England but to realize their fairy tale, they choose Brianza in the Lake Como region where they were born and raised together.
Location: Lake Como, Italy

Both wished for a different marriage than ordinary. Max wanted their roots and personal stories to be very present while Micol dreamed of a romantic and fairytale wedding and this was the starting point of our wedding planner Lea from Eventoile Weddings for their wedding day! The best wedding creatives based in all of Italy have made part of this project and together we’ve paired some elements inspired by the English gardens with the Italian style and elegance by getting at the end a trully romantic garden.
Micol, the bride, wore a stunning and femminine Italian silk cady gown by the Atelier Yooj, wich the upper part was entirely covered by French lace rebrodé and applied by hand. Her hair was elegantly picked to wear the pearl jewel headpiece of Guinevere Vines, entirely hand-made in the shades of the color palette, which for a few minutes Micol gently preserved between her hands – like a treasure – before dressing it. The groom had his hair loose and free of all sorts of rules and wore a blue attire combined with the artigianal amaranth color papillon made in Sicily from ScoccaPapillon. They exchanged their vows under the beautiful wild arch round, which was created by our flower designer Fioriinriga with the idea of being an integral part of the garden of the venue and a great frame for immortalizing their love forever.
Lea: “I like how everything went, the photographers Ylenia and Lorenzo were great and all the photos really captured the emotions of that day. It was so intimate, so romantic and so touching, the light was gorgeous and the guys were above. Need anything else to celebrate a true love?
My favorite element of Villa Pina was the pergola vine and from the first time I saw it, I decided to create the dining table below. So I use some antique furnishings, elegant plates, cutlery and glasses and the fairy tale just come true.
When I met Micol, she told me that the most important moment for her was the cut of cake and I really wanted to create something unique, romantic and special for her. The garden was provided with an old water well where wild roses grow spontaneously and over it I decided, with Alessia from Qualcosa di Dolce, to realize our romantic sweet table.
The wonderful stationery was completelly handmade, written in gold and painted in watercolor by Poeticalligraphy and we really felt in love with all that beauties and we could not stop taking pictures of them. To end the day in absolute beauty, all the special guests received a postcard with the hand-drawn design of Lake Como.
