Villa Erba Wedding Photographer – Lake Como

Villa Erba is a 19th-century villa in Cernobbio, on the western shore of Lake Como in northern Italy. Set in a magnificent gardenis Villa Erba is one of the most important historic houses on Lake Como.
The main building, overlooking the lake, shows impressive volumes and monumental architectural and decorative lines. Built in the late 1800s, in 1972 the Villa Antica was the location for the editing of the film “Ludwig”, the last of the famous “German trilogy” by director Luchino Visconti (1906-1976). A choice dictated by the deep bond with this home, owned by his family and where he spent many summers of his childhood. ‘Ocean’s Twelve’ was filmed here and a result, it is one of the most well-known villas on Lake Como. But it is famous for good reason. The villa has a lavish interior with a number of original ornaments and frescoes, making it a jaw dropping setting for a luxury wedding. The lakefront property has an immense botanical park, with a very secluded and romantic wrought iron cupola where ceremonies can be held. Given the scale of the villa, dining can be in a marquee in the gardens or inside one of the spectacular grand salons.
