FROM YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS
Five months before your Destination Wedding, we’ll send you a wedding day PREFERENCES QUESTIONNAIRE. This questionnaire will help us to understand your vision of the event and to develope a storytelling that best fits your photographic needs, as well as photo time to coordinate with you and your wedding planner if there is one.
Now the key is to always leave some extra time and NOT CRAM too much into a tight schedule. Always leave some wiggle room and make sure to plan for things that might take longer than expected, that way everyone will FEEL RELAXED and not rushed/stressed.
We recommend SHARING the GENERAL DAY’S SCHEDULE with all vendors so they have the full picture and understand how important their punctuality is.
Here is an example timeline BY PHOTOGRAPHIC POINT OF VIEW we created to help guide your day considering always being in the same location without moving – otherwise this time line is to be considered as a starting point for the necessary timing – considering that we are 2 photographers, the time needed and light here on the Lake, always check with any special needs of you or the venue. There is one with a first look and one without.
